CAPRI TRAVEL INSPIRATION

The colorful village of Marina Grande, the first part of the island travelers see.
The tiny island of Capri
is located on the south side of the Gulf of Naples in the region of Campania. To no surprise, her beauty has fascinated Roman emperors and famous Hollywood stars: let us take you to our favorite Capri corners for your capri travel inspiration.
During a hot summer day, the island can double her size of inhabitants, while many guides label her as "too touristy", nothing could be further than the truth. Well, if you google "what to do in Capri", you are probably ending up in the most visited places by tourists, this is when you need a local expert who will recommend an off of the beaten path itinerary.
BEST TIME TO VISIT:
May to October
(we recommend June or September for a less-heralded island)
Straight to the point, here is a list of our 3 favorite things to do on the island:
01 Arriving by private yacht.
Capri's high cliffs and structure make it the perfect island to explore by boat. With as little as just 2 main beaches, this island counts with an
incredible amount of grottoes and caves
to see on a boat. The closest airport is the "Aeroporto Internazionale di Napoli" (about 50 km away, including a ferry ride or private boat transfer), in just 1 hour you literally land in paradise. Intense blue waters, a refreshing sea-breeze and the sound of cicadas will get you to relax on board
in the blink of an eye.
02 Having lunch at a local restaurant.
"Buon appetito"
may be our favorite word in Italian. It's hard to spot a restaurant serving bad food on the island and you have plenty of choice: local beach club or fancy restaurant? The gastronomic offer
has you covered. Speak to one of our consultants to have a free restaurant
recommendation. They have a few ;)
03 Exploring by convertible taxi.
Unless you are very much into walking uphill on a hot summer day, catching a convertible taxi right at your arrival can be a fun way to explore the island. The windy road
connecting the village of Anacapri to Capri is the best one to drive by taxi, while enjoying incredible views on the Gulf of Naples.
